Through the DILOS365 service, you gain access to Microsoft cloud applications, which include Office 365 Online, One Drive (1TB), Skype for Business, etc. The service includes the installation of Office365 applications on PCs or mobile devices.
This service is offered in collaboration with the ” National Network of Technology and Research Infrastructures ” and Microsoft, while user data is stored in Microsoft infrastructures, in data-centers outside the institution.
Who does it concern?
The service concerns registered students (undergraduate and postgraduate) and staff of the University of Western Macedonia.
How do I get it?
Each eligible user uses the UOWM institutional account they have at the University of Western Macedonia to gain access.
To use Microsoft services, you must FIRST activate your account through the DELOS365 service at delos365.grnet.gr by “Login” and using the credentials of the institutional account you have at the University of Western Macedonia.
Service activation may take a few minutes to complete.
To connect to MS Office 365 services, visit one of the following addresses:
- the DILOS 365 website https://delos365.grnet.gr ,
To log in, use the details of the UOWM institutional account you have at the University of Western Macedonia - the MS office 365 service https://office.com ,
To log in, enter the username of the institutional account you have in the format username@ms.uowm.gr (referred to as “UserPrincipalName”) and without entering a password, you will be redirected to the Central Certification (Identity) page of the University of Western Macedonia where you will enter the access information (username, password) of the institutional account.
Caution:
- Undergraduate and Postgraduate Students must once a year, at the beginning of the academic year in early October, access the service from the page https://delos365.grnet.gr in order to renew its validity period.
- Your password is entered exclusively at the Identity Provider of the University of Western Macedonia and not at third parties (i.e. only on the same page that appears for entering codes for services such as EYDOXOS or Academic Identity).
- The UserPrincipalName has the format of an email address in the format username@ms.uowm.gr. It is used to identify the user but also corresponds to a real email address.
License Term
The license remains active:
a) for as long as you have the status of a student or staff at the University of Western Macedonia,
and
b) for as long as Microsoft provides the services. There is no guaranteed time period during which the services will be provided, and access may be interrupted at any time
