Certification Announcement of the New International Postgraduate Program “MBA in Business Economics and Artificial Intelligence”

The Department of Economics of the University of Western Macedonia is pleased to announce the successful certification of its new Postgraduate Program of Studies:

“Master of Business Administration with emphasis on Business Economics and Artificial Intelligence”
(MBA in Business Economics and Artificial Intelligence)

According to the report of the Certification Committee, ratified by the Hellenic Authority for Higher Education (HAHE), the Program fully complies with:

  • the principles of the Quality Standard for the Certification of New Postgraduate Programs of HAHE, and

  • the Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area (ESG),

meeting the requirements of Level 7 of both the National and the European Qualifications Framework.

This new inter-university and international Postgraduate Program is jointly organized with the Department of Economics of Chiang Mai University (CMU), Thailand, and will commence in the academic year 2025–2026. The first round of student applications is expected to open in early 2026.

The certification is valid for a period of five (5) years, from 08 July 2025 to 07 July 2030.
